A Granulating Machine and its Advantages

A granulating machine has great important when it comes to the recycling. The granulating machine is a knife that can cut down the large particles and convert them into flakes. Different companies use it for different purposes for example; one can use it for cutting the wooden objects, plastic materials, paper, etc.

Industrial use: There are different types of granulators that one can use in industries and different granulators have different applications. Pharmaceutical companies that make different medicines and to combine different mixtures use granulators. A granulating machine is also helpful in cutting down wood into small pieces, which then provides wood granules. These granules are then used to make fuel pellets. Such granulators are recycling granulators. Different granulators that people use at the industrial level are film granulators, thermoplastic granulators, cable granulators, rubber granulators, and even vehicle granulators depending on the usage and demand of the clients.

Things to keep in mind: Before buying a granulating machine, one should know the proper purpose and its usage because there is a huge variety of granulator available in the market. Always buy them from a trusted dealer and never overload them with putting extra material for granulation process.

Granulator v/s Shredder: Many people mix up and confuse the usage of granulator and shredder. Granulator keeps on cutting down the material unless it converts it into the form of granules or sometimes powder. Another major feature that distinguishes a granulating machine with a shredder is feeding. A granulator is high speed but has less torque as compared to a shredder so experts recommend that one must not feed huge materials at the same time into a granulator. This can be dangerous. These two different machines often work together one by one. First shredder breaks down the huge and heavy materials into small pieces then to cut and break them down into even smaller pieces people use granulators.
