The plastic granulator is a size reduction machine, particularly essential for recycling the plastic. Plastic shredder can easily transform the plastic products like plastic cases, bottles, drums, films, and crates into little pieces named ''flakes'' or ''regrinds''. Sometimes, the plastic item only needs this process for it to be reusable, and even used in making new products made of plastic. However, The plastic crusher has many kinds, and it requires research to find the right size reduction, separation, pelletizing, and washing which is suitable for your needs.

The plastic shredder has a cutting chamber built in, where knives are attached there. The rotation of the knives during the shredding may leave scraps on the plastic chamber, and they would the plastic into many small pieces. At the bottom, you find a big screen that has several holes. This screen will make sure to provide you with the adjusted size of your choice during the process of shredding

How to use the Granulator properly

Here is a couple of tips and strategies on how to operate the plastic shredder properly:

  • If the material is still in the inner cutting chamber, do not start the plastic crusher.

  • During operation, keep external objects away from the plastic granulator.

  • The plastic granulator is not made for big purgings and lumps.

  • Make sure to empty the collection list of bin on-time,and don't let the collection be bin overload in the cutting chamber.

  • Before inserting the plastic into the machine, turn the device on.

  • Never overload the plastic shredder through feeding it more than it can handle.

  • Check the knives in case they need adjusting, clearance, sharpening or replacing.

  • Rotate the plastic granulator screen to make sure it lasts longer.

  • Allow the purging of the plastic crusher before you turn it off.

In case the blower was used for evacuating the cut regrinds, ensure stopping the granulator before trying to stop the blower thirty seconds after.
